  • Abstract
    A newly multi-format OPS/OCS integrated node, having low polarization-dependent loss optical switches with nanosecond-order switching-speed and burst-mode amplifiers with low gain-fluctuation, is developed. For the first time we demonstrate error-free concurrent switching of 100 Gbps DP-QPSK/OOK optical packets and circuits.
