Abstract
This paper experimentally investigates the mitigation of interchannel FWM in bidirectional UDWDM-PONs with real-time Nyquist transmitter. Performing channel-frequency tuning as ±1.25 GHz, the transmission over 80-km+1:8 ODN is successfully demonstrated for both 2×8×2.5 GBd-QPSK and 16QAM in 5-GHz grid.
