Abstract :
Special type of finite-difference-based lattice Boltzmann schemes is considered. The schemes are based on unified approximations of convective term in system of Bhatnaghar- Gross-Krook kinetic equations. Chapman-Enskog asymptotic analysis for the differential approximations of the schemes is realized. As a result of the analysis it is showed that expressions for numerical viscosity for all presented schemes are the same as expression for kinematic viscosity for the system of kinetic equations. Obtained result demonstrate the absence of spurious effects in numerical solutions obtained by presented schemes.
