Abstract :
In effective medium approximation the possibility is shown and conditions are obtained for creation of epsilon-near-zero fishnet metamaterials based on the multilayered metal-dielectric nanostructure with implemented dielectric or metallic nanocylinders. It is established the possibility of realization of diffraction-free and low-loss regime of light beam propagation in these media.
