Abstract
In theory, a Super Phase Array (SPA) which radar cross section is greatly enhanced can be constructed. However no such array has been made to date. The reason for this lies in the complexity of building the key component of this SPA - the super lens. Here, we shall demonstrate how this complexity can be greatly reduced by constructing the simplest possible compact super lens. The method used is generic and can be adapted to create a SPA of any arbitrary geometry. This simplification will lead towards the possibility of constructing a practical SPA.
