Abstract
Hand Gesture technology have existed and being used in many fields from quite a long time, but it is not being so common in daily use. The reason is that in the existing gesture recognition systems power consumption is quite high. In addition to that computational resources used in existing system increase their cost which limits their usage in low-end devices. To overcome this problem we have used a technology named AllSee(sensor). It is the first hand gesture-recognition system which can be used without external power and also the overall cost of hardware is very less which makes it suitable for using it in low-end devices. It recognizes gesture from the change in the existing wireless signals (e.g., TV Signals) due to hand movements. We are integrating AllSee to our laptop (OS-Linux), for controlling desktop application such as VLC media player, Mozilla, Image Viewer and Libre Office.
