Abstract :
Data hiding methods aim to implant information secretly into a carrier data signal by revising the immaterial components for secret communication or copyright protection. Every so often, the data-hiding operation leads to distortion in the host image resulting in faulty image resolution. Nevertheless, these distortions, are undesirable to the applications, like military or medical images. In such scenario it is risky to embed additional secret message in a reversible pattern so the genuine contents can be fully regained after extraction of the hidden data. Binarisation of the host image gives the contour tracing of the image. The Edge-Adaptive grid (EAG) technique accompanying data carrying pixel location (DCPL) gives the idea of the location of where the secret message can be hidden. However, this verifies the distortion rate of the host image when message is decrypted at the concluding part. Reversible Data Hiding (RDH) method can attain real reversibility, image recovery and data extractions are free of any error.
