Abstract :
In this project, we are presenting a new concept for preserving fingerprint confidential. Identification of fingerprint is an active area of search. In most portions we are manipulating recognition of fingerprint for enhancing the isolation and safety. The matching methods can be of two types-enrolment of fingerprint and authentication of fingerprint. The union of fingerprint for protecting isolation is a system for securing fingerprint isolation by integrating two distinct fingerprints into new indirect identity. In the enrolment stage two fingerprints will be taken from two different fingers. The minutiae position is taken from one fingerprint, from other fingerprint alignment and references points from both fingerprints are taken out. From the details taken out an image of combined minutiae is generated and kept in the database. In authentication stage we will require two fingerprints from alike two fingers which were used previously during enrolment time. A minutia cylinder code pairing algorithm is recommended for coordinating the two fingerprints against template of combined minutiae. By storing integrated minutiae template, complete property of one fingerprint will not be recognized even if the database is grabbed. As there is analogy in topology it is not possible for raider to proceed out the markings of combined minutiae from true templates of minutiae. Thus a new virtual identity is developed for two same fingerprints.
