Abstract :
A patient health monitoring system or a wellness tracking system is used by the hospitals for real-time monitoring of patients with chronic disorders remotely and to generate immediate alert in case of any critical situation. With the help of mobile cloud computing (MCC) and wireless body area networks (WBANs), the system can be significantly improved for military service of widespread healthcare applications. The wireless communication along with wireless sensor networks had made a cost effective, intelligent, and lightweight medical sensor nodes to create a wireless body area network for monitoring various health parameters for a long period of time and provides real-time feedback to the user, care taker and to the physician. The medical records of each patient including patient details, prescriptions will be stored on a cloud so that it can be used for future references. The objective of this work is to provide high performance system which cost effective, resource sensitive and secure. In order to implement suitable security mechanism this paper discusses various existing and popular encryption algorithm available in the public domain.
