Tool for monitoring Web sites for emergency-related posts and post analysis

In view of increasing resilience and improving mitigation of disaster situations in a specified region, a tool was proposed, built and tested for monitoring new posts and connections on a specified set of web sites. The tool aims to discover any new post on the specified site and to determine if it includes one or several keywords, or satisfies one of several logic conditions. The application is simple enough to run on any computer and can easily be transposed to run on mobile devices. The application is described and preliminary results presented and discussed.
