Abstract
This paper reports a novel concurrent digital predistortion (DPD) scheme for concurrent tri-band signals. Based on simplified 2rd-order dynamic deviation reduction (DDR) model, a novel concurrent tri-band DPD algorithm is proposed and especially the importance of out-of-band intermodulation components is analyzed. Test results show that for the concurrent tri-band 120MHz aggregation signal bandwidth, the proposed linearization scheme achieves adjacent channel power ratio (ACPR) of -52.5dBc for class AB PA with power added efficiency (PAE) 30% and -48.5dBc for Doherty PA with PAE 45% respectively.
