Abstract
This paper presents a comprehensive analyze of a novel six-port circuit operating over 10 GHz band from 80 to 90 GHz. The circuit is fabricated using hybrid integrated technology on a ceramic substrate using an in-house process. Two-port S-parameter measurements are performed on a number of circuits integrated on the same die, chosen to collect enough data for its full-port characterization. A circuit computer model is implemented using previous measurements and used to characterize the circuit as a quadrature demodulator. Error vector modulation analysis confirms that the circuit is able to demodulate with very good results various PSK and QAM signals over the 10 GHz band.
