  • Abstract
    This paper summarizes an approach used to analyze the dataset for "Mini-Challenge 2" under VAST Challenge 2015. The motivation was to discover and characterize as many relevant patterns and aspects of the dataset to answer the posed questions within a given short timeframe, which in this case was approximately 20 hours. High level scripting languages Python and R were used for this analytics task.
