  • Abstract
    Three major macroenvironmental forces - security, reliability, and economics -- have combined to change the rules and optimum responses for the management of DC power plant systems. This paper explores the maintenance problems created by these forces, and suggests a strategic approach for maintenance of battery systems based on balancing risk mitigation and budget optimization.
