  • Abstract
Urban Electric Power (UEP) is commercializing new energy storage products based on recent innovations in zinc anode rechargeable battery technology developed at the City University of New York´s (CUNY) Energy Institute. The zinc anode batteries utilize a unique combination of enhanced performance, extended lifetime and lowcost abundant materials. Engineered for performance and environmental sustainability, the UEP battery systems are a non-toxic and 100% recyclable alternatives to existing battery technologies.
