Abstract :
This paper describes the preliminary design of disaster data as a continuation of our previous research, which is modeling disaster data as spatio-temporal data with support of unpredictable data. The disaster data are designed according to the standard of disaster data in Indonesia which is defined by the BNPB (Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana). BNPB is the formal agency that responsible in managing disaster information in Indonesia. Using spatio-temporal data as a representation of disaster data is considered to provide more complete and valuable disaster information. All activities during three phases: (1) pre-disaster, (2) emergency responses when the disaster is actually happened, and (3) post-disaster, can be supported. Unpredictable data support is design to enable capturing new types of data, including new types of disaster or new types of aid. The type of spatio-temporal data model chosen is moving object data model. This model is developed based on our previous model which is not consider the standard of disaster data yet. The process of developing the preliminary design includes (1) determine the purpose of the database, (2) building the conceptual model, (3) building the logical data design, and (4) building the physical data design. The result is evaluated by defining the queries that fulfill the requirements. It is expected that the refinement can be conducted further to provide a detail design of disaster data.
