Abstract :
This paper presents a graphical description model for an urban electric minibus using energetic macroscopic representation. Considering a real case study of Coimbra´s electric minibus, an energetic macroscopic representation model of the electric minibus was developed, including its control layer and strategy structure. An accurate model is demanded to perform energetic studies to manage the accelerated battery life-cycle degradation, the time to recharge and new routes, regarding present constraints in terms of prevailing batteries technology. Regarding the results for the three scenarios considered, the solution will address the maximization of both economic and technical variables.
