Abstract :
Information-theoretic link scheduling (ITLinQ) is a spectrum sharing mechanism to find proper subset of links in ad-hoc network by an information-theoretic method. We consider the presence of fast fading such as Rayleigh or Rician in ITLinQ system, and investigate the impact of the limited channel state information (CSI) to the links in time-varying channel. We adopt scheduling backoff to prevent the outage caused by imperfect CSI and optimize the backoff value which maximizes the achievable sum-rate in an empirical manner.
