Abstract :
In this paper, we present the wideband satellite transmission in the DVB-S2 system using a time-slicing method. Compared with a conventional transmission method in the DVB-S2 system, a time-slicing method assigns the different TSNs to each stream data providing multi-channel service in the modulator. In the demodulator, it is only filtered the TSN corresponding to channel service allowing a user and the stream data with the filtered TSN is demodulated and decoded. Therefore, the DVB-S2 system using a time-slicing method can process the necessary stream data instead of the total stream data and can considerably reduce the data processing time.
