Abstract :
Solar devices relying on nanostructured materials are very attractive due to their 0 and 1D properties, additionally there is a perpetual demand for new solar cell devices with green and low cost properties. Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) chalcopyrite semiconductor due to the abundance and low cost of its precursors is an ideal candidate for 3D nanostrucutured solar cells. In this work, CZTS nanocrystals were synthesized by pulsed laser deposition technique (PLD), and simultaneously deposited in the interstitial space of pre-fabricated zinc oxide (ZnO) nanowires array to form an heterojunction 3D solar device.
