Abstract :
A concept of highly transparent concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) module is introduced in which diffuse sunlight passes through the module and is utilized for other applications such as plant cultivation. The present concept is suitable for the regions of middle direct normal irradiance (DNI) where diffuse sunlight comprises 40-50% of global sunlight. This paper reports a preliminary result of on-sun test of the prototype module and annual simulation for dual land use.
