  • Abstract
One of the major concerns in the power quality analysis in power systems is the voltage and current distortion caused by industrial customers. Several techniques in time-domain, frequency-domain, and hybrid-domain are used, depending on the analysis approach. The Harmonic Power Flow, a frequency domain technique, is a powerful tool to analyze the propagation of harmonic currents from non-linear loads to other load or generation buses in the system. HPFepn, a program developed, will be used to simulate the voltage harmonic distortion caused by two industrial customers into the hydropower plants of an electric utility.
