Abstract
We developed a low loss polymer waveguide components for near future silicon photonics packaging. We improved the structure of the polymer waveguide connector and realized a low loss single mode polymer waveguide MT compatible connector. This new structure brings a lot of advantages such as the precise core positioning, the easy manipulation of a polymer waveguide while its assembly process, and a physical strength of a polymer waveguide flex after a polymer waveguide MT compatible connector assembly.
