Abstract :
A compact triple band planar inverted F antenna with a rectangular slit is presented in this paper. The proposed antenna structure covers DCS, PCS, UMTS, 4 G LTE, WiMAX bands. The dimensions of the proposed antenna is 20 × 10 × 3.57 mm3 and can easily be integrate in housing of the mobile phone. It is found that rectangular slots on a radiating patch play a vital role to achieving multi-band. The impedance bandwidth of proposed antenna is 874.9 MHz (1.1675-2.0424 GHz), 921.4 MHz (2.8893-3.8108 GHz), 1.1448 GHz (7.9245-9.0693 GHz). The radiation pattern, peak antenna gain, return loss are simulated with the help of HFSS. The maximum gain of antenna are 6.3668 dB, 2.8577 dB.
