Abstract :
In designing of microstrip antenna the suitable substrate is an important. The substrate properties such as its dielectric constant, loss tangent have a good effect on the antenna characteristics. In this paper a detailed study of the effect of various substrate material on the antenna properties. The fork type antenna is analyzed for different substrates using the software HFSS.
