Abstract :
This paper proposes a new variant to the Swine Influenza Model Based Optimization (SIMBO) family based on seasonal flu shots. Swine Influenza Model Based Optimization using Seasonal Flu Shots (SIMBO-SS) needs very few essential optimization parameters and eliminates major flaws associated with old SIMBO variants. The performance of the SIMBO-SS is demonstrated using seven benchmark functions and results are compared with other SIMBO variants.
