Abstract :
To teach the way everyday devices work, by following the energy transformations along the way, a web-based educational software was used to a total of 230 primary school children. The aim was to investigate the way ordinary teachers behave when using such web-tools, by studying their effectiveness and success rate in guiding pupils to achieve knowledge, following whichever method they may choose. Mobile devices such as tablets can be utilised in class, and/or projectors, as in the case presented. As the effectiveness of the software is already proven, this study qualifies as a measurement of the software´s ease of use in everyday school situations. Children´s knowledge improvement was measured, while some interesting results are reached herein.
