  • Abstract
    The paper describes the simulation of coupling between coaxial cables in the time-domain (TD). Whilst, models of coupling have been developed in the frequency-domain, it is advantageous to study coupling in the TD as such models can be directly embedded into large-scale whole-system models for EMC studies where analysis in the TD is preferred. The results illustrate how the properties of the tertiary circuit (formed between the shields of the coaxial cables) are crucial in determining coupling.
