Abstract :
In the proposed work, Multivariable fractional order PID controller designed and autotuned using harmony search algorithm for two interacting conical tank process. Control of interacting process is complicated due to the strong interactions. With the application of fractional calculus in the field of science and technology, an attempt is made to design a centralized fractional order PID controller. Harmony search Algorithm is applied in the present work for autotuing purpose and validated under tracking and disturbance rejection cases.
