Abstract :
In order to simplify the resonant DCX topology and reduce the cost, two novel resonant cells are proposed in this paper which can be extended to single ended Forward topology. Similar to LLC resonant DCX, the ZVS on and ZCS off for switch is also achieved. Furthermore, the two resonant cells can be extended to other dc-dc topologies. Hence, a new family of ZVS&ZCS resonant DCX is proposed which are suitable for high frequency and high efficiency applications with various power levels. Two prototypes of the family that are two-switch resonant Forward DCX and resonant-reset single ended Forward DCX, are built up to verify the effectiveness of the proposed cells.
