Abstract :
In order to investigate the operating performance of the distributed source inverter under the grid fault, this paper presents the design and implementation of a special Grid-Fault Emulating Power Supply (GFEPS) based on the Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulation , which can emulate wide scope of grid faults, such as voltage dip, unbalance, harmonic distortion, frequency drift, phase angle jumping and etc. It is modified simplicity and smoothly through the RTDS, and design the circle and controller of the power interface which is the important role in GFEPS. Finally, the experimental results are presented to validate the simplicity, flexibility and high reliability of the design and implementation of the GFEPS.
