Abstract :
This paper proposes a novel current control system within the inverter over-modulation range for Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors(IPMSMs). Using the inverter over-modulation range contributes size and cost reduction, however, the Auto Current Regulator(ACR) tends to unstable because feedback currents are distorted in this range. The proposed control system can improve the current control performance and can expand the operation range by simple algorithms.
