Abstract
In view of the failure rate of a component in HVDC transmission system varying with its working time, this paper puts forward a HVDC transmission system reliability indices calculation method considering the elements failure rate changes. In the paper, Combined with the failure times and working time data of components, failure rate bathtub curve based on two-parameter Weibull distribution is established to fit the component failure rate change process. On this basis, time sequential Monte Carlo simulation is used to calculate the reliability indices. The results show that the method is reasonable and feasible through simulation of Eel river DC project.
