Abstract :
This paper proposes a millimeter-wave on-chip antenna designed for ISM band (61-61.5GHz) application using 0.15um pHEMT process. A measured impedance bandwidth for 10 dB return loss ranging from 60.57-61.17 GHz is achieved. By taking the advantage of high permittivity and low loss in the pHEMT process, the footprint of the antenna can be shrunk to 1.5 × 1 mm2 and the radiation efficiency can be up to 76.06%
