Abstract :
A design of MIMO antennas using two monopole structures adding a neutral line connected to ground plane for achieving better isolation is proposed and examined. The antenna uses curved C-shaped arm to resonance the bands of IEEE802.11b/g/n; another arm extended on the feed achieves the bands of IEEE 802.11a application. The overall size of the design is 45×25×1.6mm3; the occupied area of the antenna portion and isolation mechanism is 15×25 mm2. From the measured and simulated results of the design, the design with good performances and isolation effect can be achieved. The design with simple structure, small size and good performances is suitable for MIMO antennas on WLAN USB devices.
