Abstract :
A novel co-planner multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) antenna system combined with decoupling structure for enhancing the port isolation between two antennas at penta Long-Term Evolution (LTE) bands 700MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz, 2300MHz and 2600MHz operation in this paper. For compact single antenna, the design is used to building a single multi-band antenna with 75×18×1.6 . In the decoupling work, we uses two meander resonators to handle the lower band isolation, and then adding a cross-shaped ground structure to furthermore isolation enhancement in higher two bands. Both of the measurement and simulation of S-parameters are exhibited, the average isolation can be improved more than 13 dB in desired bands with wide band problems. In MIMO antenna system, antennas are utilized in simultaneously, and the results of simulation antenna efficiency in single excitation can achieves to 90%, 53% and 78% in triple bands operation at best matching point, respectively. It is still remained 63.8%, 66% and 65% with adding the decoupling element. The proposed antenna is suitable for some portable MIMO application.
