Abstract :
We propose an optical reflection-type electro-absorption modulator having high stability of time by using a super luminescent diode. Our proposed modulator can improve the time stability without temperature control. Time stability of our proposed modulator is less than 0.2 dB during the ambient temperature variation less than 3 degrees.
