Abstract
GPR (ground penetrating radar) survey to locate objects of unknown depth requires more than one type of pulse duration means using a number of antenna with different length. GPR antenna prototypes for two of the most optimum pulse is proposed dipole antenna consists of two pairs of antennas, each of the main antenna (short-length) of the feed point to bending (discontinuity) is equal to 3 cm and 6.5 cm for the main antenna (long-length). Model analysis for the coupling between the arms of the antenna mutual impedance analysis using two dipole orientation angle. Flare angle of 70 degree angles show mutual impedance lowest. This is consistent with FDTD (finite difference time domain) simulation results that the lowest coupling occurs at a flare angle of 70 degree.
