Abstract :
We designed a new fast neutron Bonner multi-cylinder neutron detector using boroned-lined ionization chamber, wrapped in a set of 5 high density polyethylene cylinders. The ionization chamber consists of the cavity chamber twins. The response function of Bonner multi-cylinder neutron detector was simulated by Geant4 code. The sensitivity of detector reaches a level of 8.702×10-15A/(cm-2·s-1) under the experiments based on the 241Am-Be neutron source.
