Abstract :
A valuable set of dosimetric data for high energy electrons propagated through typical space multi-layer materials has been obtained in order to validate the main radiation simulation tools used by the space industry and to improve our knowledge of the uncertainties and margins in the space radiation analysis. The experimental dataset has been intensively compared with GEANT4, PENELOPE, ITS, EGSnrc and NOVICE codes.
