Abstract
A calibration measurement procedure applied on a cylindrical near field test site for wearable antenna measurements (on a liquid torso phantom at 2GHz) is presented. The proposed technique uses a 2mm thick conducting plate whose cross sectional dimensions are equal to that of the phantom to be used in the test. It is proved that this technique is effective and useful as a calibration of cylindrical near field wearable antenna measurements and removes the necessity of using the phantom.
