Inter-communication management in cases with disabled children

Since the use of Information and communication tools has offered new possibilities for improving different aspect of the healthcare sector, the objective of this research is to design an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tool to assist the learning process of caretakers of special need children in Sweden. The research is based on long-term observations and in-depth interviews with key experts, with the aim of developing a tool which should assist the intercommunication between caretakers, creating optimized action plans in a work integrated environment. Enhancing the learning processes of the caretakers´ methods and knowledge of each other´s work processes through knowledge bridging between all caretakers involved and hence have a direct influence on the child´s development.
