Abstract
This paper deals with the evaluation of the performance of the Open Loop Multiple Input Multiple Output Power Line Communication (MIMO PLC) system. The Two Sided Jacobi (TSJ) based Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is used for the zero-forcing MIMO equalizer algorithm. Numerous simplifications are introduced to reduce the algorithm complexity. The performance of the developed MIMO system is evaluated in terms of BER and MSE between constructed SVD matrices and Matlab computed ones.
