Abstract :
During this summer, the new Operations Centre of the Romanian National Grid Infrastructure (NGI-RO) has been implemented at IFIN-HH, under the management of DFCTI and supported by the computing infrastructure of the GRIDIFIN site. The site, which was recently EGI certified, serves three research communities· the experimental groups of the Extreme Light Infrastructure - Nuclear Physics (ELI-NP) project, the computational biology community and the researchers in condensed state physics and nanomaterials technology. Starting September 2015, GRIDIFIN provides the monitoring of the service availability for all the Romanian sites, including those of the Tier-2 Federation RO-LCG.
