Abstract :
Exact feedback linearization technique is applied to standard DC-DC buck converter using precise model of the system. Considering parasitic resistances of the inductor, capacitor and switches, averaged state space method is used to develop converter model. Hence, developed controller is able to regulate output voltage of the converter in a wide range of operation. Using the optimal control theory, the coefficients of the developed controller are optimized. In order to evaluate the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method, designed controller is simulated using MATLAB/Simulink toolbox. Presented simulation results prove that the developed controller has acceptable dynamic and steady-state responses.
