  • Abstract
Since 1960s, no solutions have been found both home and abroad to the theory and protective technology related to hazard influences of a high voltage transmission system on a communication system. Previously, the major technical measure against comprehensive hazards of the strong current is to make them separated. However, in city planning, it is inevitable to arrange them closely or construct them on the same site. Whether a communication system mainly having the weak current and a high voltage system in hundreds of kilovolts can co-exist and how to make them co-exist have become a worldwide puzzle which influences the development of communications. When the cloud data center of a communication system is constructed with a high voltage substation together, three critical technical problems should be solved: influences of hazards caused by the rise of the earth potential in thousands of kilovolts on the communication system due to the power- frequency short-circuit accident of the strong current system; influences of the electromagnetic field in the high-voltage power distribution room on the communication system; and influences of the on-off of high-voltage strong-current grounding and information grounding on communication equipment. When the high voltage substation works normally, the power frequency magnetic field may cause hazards to the information storage equipment of the cloud data center constructed on the same site. By measurements and analyses, this article systematically summarizes characteristics of the power frequency magnetic field generated by the substation.
