Abstract :
A compact nickel-zinc ferrite dielectric resonator antenna built on a microstrip substrate is proposed as a possible candidate for wireless communication systems applications at the microwave band. These antenna properties are investigated using Ansoft HFSS through the implemented finite element method (FEM). The ceramic material was prepared through combustion method in a process involving high temperature. A prototype was built. Simulated and measured results are presented and discussed.
