Abstract :
The information storm brought about by Big Data is changing our lives, work and thinking, and it´s also bringing huge change to the survival environment of enterprises. Decision-making method of enterprises shifts from traditional subjective way to data-driven decision-making methods, precision marketing is becoming the new enterprise marketing tools, and social networks enhance customer satisfaction greatly. This paper analyzes how The Long Tail theory is used to expand enterprises product ranges. Mean well, the paper describes how to innovate new products or services under the condition of huge amount of potential customers. Finally, the author put forward a new business model based on Big Data thinking. In this model, enterprises have two different kind of interest. One is using big data to explore new product, new customers, precision marketing, diversified management, and analyze the loyalty of customers. The other one is taking big data itself as a new product and the transaction of big data as a new source of enterprise profits. The model will be a reference for the enterprises which will take advantage of Big Data to create new profit for the enterprises.
