Abstract
Droplet Microfluidic devices are used for many chemical or biomedical applications and these systems offer advantages for fast and low-cost chemical analyses. In this contribution we present an improved version of the well-established T-junction droplet creating structure. For this, we integrate three different geometrical elements: phase-guides, margin geometries and pressure chambers in a microfluidic channel. All these structures improve the size-uniformity of the droplets which is important e.g. biomedical applications. We present simulation results, a prototype device and first test measurements.
