Abstract :
Recently the use of QR code for data coding becomes significantly increasing especially for coding identity, health and other specific data. Since some types of data such as identity, health, etc is private data then it needs to be further authenticated. Furthermore, the owner of the identity should be authenticated as well. Therefore, we have to insert biometric features which will be further authenticated. This paper proposed a method for inserting (watermarking) the biometric feature into the QR Code. The proposed method inserts the biometric feature into the data and error correcting codeword using Blum Blum Shub Pseudo random Number Generator. Based on the experiments result the coverage of QR Code is 1900 bits with the accuracy of the extraction more than 95 %. Furthermore, the scheme secrecy is improved compared with Lin, et.al.
